Blaney Motor Company started because of Sean’s passion for all things mechanical and long existing love for off road vehicles.
In 1989, at the age of 14, Sean built his first off road vehicle powered by a 250cc engine. He went on to design and build around ten more off road vehicles before even reaching the legal age where he could get a driving licence.
This early interest in off highway vehicle design lead to Sean working on product development projects with Benford construction machinery, as well as spending some time with Matbro.
The first ATV was made in 1997 with production of the Blaney Fx range starting in 1999. At its peak production numbers reached into the thousands.
The evolution of these compact vehicles into multipurpose machines started the current projects in 2004.
We are very proud of our business portfolio which supports our local community while serving the global market. For more information follow the link to the Blaney Group page.
